Your students won't be following a tour guide, they'll be navigating streets, exchanging money, purchasing transit passes, translating menus, and calculating gratuities.  This is real world travel.

For students dreaming of traveling the world independently this is a great way to get them started.

Help is close at hand

We send a group director with each group.  Our group directors must have extensive travel experience and a contageous enthusiasm for showing students the world, so it should not be a surprise that most of them are world language teachers who studied abroad at the very places we're visiting.  We could send your group to meet a tour guide, but that would inevitably result in you being treated as a tourist.
