Introduction
We believe it would be unwise to travel without insurance, and so we decided early on that participants would be required to purchase comprehensive travel insurance during enrollment.

Requiring insurance during enrollment ensures we will receive a group discount, allowing us to discount the insurance up-front for each student.

After careful consideration we elected the "Premier+" level of coverage from the "A+ Student Group" insurance program offered by Trip Mate, Inc.. This is the most comprehensive travel insurance available for students.

Benefits
The benefits of the plan can be summarized as follows:

• Pre-Departure Trip Cancelation
  100% of the cost of the trip if the insured cannot travel (this covers cancelation due to sickness or emergency).
• Post-Departure Trip Interruption
  Up to 150% of the cost of the trip (this covers interruption due to sickness or emergency)
• Travel Delay
  Up to $100 per day
• Medical Expenses & Emergency Assistance
  Up to $25,000 in Medical Expenses and $50,000 in Emergency Assistance (Includes 24-hour on-call assistance service)
• Baggage & Personal Effects
  Up to $1,000 (this covers anything which is lost or stolen while traveling)
• Cancel for ANY reason
  Up to 75% of the cost of the trip, no questions asked.
