Québec is the only major cultural center in the French-speaking world that can be visited by coach from the Northeastern United States, or by a relatively short flight from anywhere else the rest of the county.   In addition to it's close proximity, a comprehensive exploration of Québec can be completed in 4 days at a relaxed pace, or in 3 days at a slightly faster pace.  For students of French, this is the most affordable way to become immersed in the language, culture, and history of France.  For students of French who also love snow (and some students who just love snow) we highly recommend visiting Québec during Winter Carnival.
